About

I’m a graduated Public Relations Diploma Student from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Richmond, BC. I currently work at Think! Social Media doing social media and community management for some of our clients. It’s awesome.

You can find me on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Tumblr

As for a wee bit of my history:

I was born a prairie girl and grew up in Sherwood Park, AB until I was 7 years old. After that I become an Islander when my family moved to Coombs (near the Coombs Country Market with the goats on the roof) on Vancouver Island. When I was 18 I took off to Australia for 9 amazing months I came home and moved to Richmond, BC for my university program. In May of 2011 I moved to the gorgeous North Shore, where I have been ever since.

I grew up reading, horseback riding, and working hard to keep our little acreage in Coombs in shape. I definitely know the value of hard work and grew up with the saying “If you want something in life you have to make it happen.” It’s been one of my best life lessons so far.

My mom is an amazing artist who is the strongest person I know for her perseverance. Especially with her newest series of Artworks: RCMP Musical Ride

My dad is the rock of our family. He’s the one who keeps us all moving in the same direction and keeps everything running and fixed on our the family property. He owns his own mechanic business as well as helping my mom with marketing. He’s become Creekside Studio’s one-man marketing department.

I am:

  • a music junkie,
  • a major bookworm,
  • an Apple fan,
  • a dreamer,
  • a social media lover,
  • an experimental cook,
  • a singer,
  • a HUGE chocolate fan, and
  • a gypsy at heart

I want to travel the world to explore other cultures and EAT!
